Few species are as coveted as bluefin tuna. This tuna originates from both sides
of the Atlantic, as well as the Mediterranean. It can exceed 300 kg in weight and reach
up to 600 kg.
The fishing of this species is controlled by a monitoring system regulated by ICCAT (
International Commission for the Conservation of Atlantic Tunas).
Bluefin tuna contains high amounts of omega-3 fatty acids and vitamins.
